Meet Ashley Hall - Orlando Voyager Magazine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Hall.

Hi Ashley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My deep love and appreciation for the Equestrian life began before I can remember. Growing up on a farm on Maryland’s Eastern Shore gave me an understanding of horses, as I learned firsthand from my mother, who was a professional Equestrienne. Over the course of a lifetime being surrounded by horses, traveling, and providing professional Interior Design, I have been able to curate my personal sense of style and design. In its essence, Equestrienne Décor represents a lifestyle influenced by all things equestrian and a belief that personal style can be easily enriched with design elements that are approachable, elegant, and luxurious.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Growing Equestrienne Decor has been an absolute passion of mine and fulfills parts of me I didn’t know were missing. Sometimes finding enough hours in the day can be a challenge, but I look forward to every moment spent on this business.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
With Equestrienne Décor, I’ve created an online destination that offers both style elements and design services that demonstrate the individuality of my clients. It can’t be found in catalogs, and you won’t find it in anyone else’s home. It is eclectic but selective, demonstrating an individuality that cannot be found in brand-new, mass-produced objects. My style utilizes easy elegance and luxury, with a love of quality antiques found in charming boutiques, barns, and attics. From shopping and styling to whole home design, each project is given unsurpassed attention to detail. I’m a proud Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and previously owned Grey Horse Candle Company…

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice would be to study and pursue whatever it is that makes you happy and don’t be focused on doing something to please someone else. It really is true when they say, ‘Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.’ Be true to yourself.
